When I went to the emergency room last night, I was dehydrated. Duh.
So I got fluids, but the kind with more than just saline, so I would get more electrolytes.
The doctor noted my low pulse. It was getting down to like 43 when I was laying there, but apparently he wasn’t too worried about that.
He said dehydration could cause that I guess so he pumped me full of fluids and sent me home.
He didn’t really listen to me so I couldn’t really explain what else was going on, but I guess it’s good I got fluids and the appropriate testing done to check my electrolytes and my heart.
I just need to do a better job of staying hydrated I guess. I’m just afraid of the consequences.
Anyway, I didn’t have to wait forever and nothing interesting happened in the waiting room. So that was good.
I am kind of tired, but whatever.
Life marches on.
