Okay. So I was right. My fears were unfounded.
The women I met with were SO nice. They seemed thrilled to have me.
They are super flexible about working with my schedule and I committed to twice a week for 3 hour shifts. I thought that was manageable.
I am busy next week with appointments, but the week after, I can start training.
I feel like I can breathe.
Wow.
I did it!
Yay me!

Beautiful! You nailed it! I’m so happy for you. Volunteering always looks great on a resume. What will you be doing?

Screening people for covid and letting the receptionists know patients have arrived. They are proving me with PPE. I am vaccinated, but they want to be safe. They said they have other work too if I want.
It’s a hearing center where they do screenings and hearing aids etc.
