Ugh. I woke up at 4:30 a.m. and not only was I wide awake, I felt terrible for some reason.
I actually think my blood sugar was too low. Apparently that can cause insomnia and make you nauseated.
I recently gave up all sugar, (except natural ones and I don’t eat a lot of those), and so I think my body is just trying to readjust. I used to drink 20oz of soda a day, plus white bread or whatever, and in the last week I’ve really gotten strict about those things.
I see my doctor next week, so I can ask him, but in the meantime this is no fun.
I like to sleep. It’s one of my favorite things. I’m hoping my body lets me get back to it now that I’ve reluctantly given it some sugar and curled back up.
