I don’t like…

…DBT diary cards. I liked my old mood charts, but the diary cards are kind of like… meh.

I guess it’s because they don’t track what’s important to me on them.

I’m thinking about redoing them on excel and presenting the alternative ones to my therapist. I will leave most of what the DBT ones have, except for the self harm and substance use stuff because those aren’t really battles I fight. It’s just wasted space.

I’d much rather be tracking sleep and physical health on those spaces because those things affect my mood and they are not really accounted for except in the narrative area.

I love my therapist, I do. I think DBT was probably the wrong move though. I knew that, but no one else seemed to, so… whatever.

I’m meeting my therapist virtually today because I am dealing with this sinus infection and I don’t want to make anyone else sick. I’ve only been on the antibiotics for a day, so it’s not long enough to kill the bugs.

I do not love virtual therapy, but it’s better than no therapy, so it is what it is.

Sigh.
