Okay, we got about 2-3 inches of snow.
Every school is closed. I can’t figure it out. Don’t we live in Michigan? It snows here.
My bible study was canceled this morning, and I sort of understand that since it’s mostly older women that come to that and they get nervous driving in any kind of inclement weather, but schools?
The only thing I can figure is that there is ice under the snow because I’m serious that there is maybe, (and I don’t have a ruler handy), but I’d say it was pushing it, 3 inches on top of my car out there.
When did people in Michigan get so afraid of snow?
I am going to sound like an old fart, but we never canceled school for 3″ when I was little. Ever.
I know there are liability issues, and parents are different now, and we haven’t had a snow day yet this year so they probably figured that into the equation, but still.
I’m supposed to see my therapist today and I’m really praying she doesn’t cancel on me. I need to see her.
Apparently my state, or at least my part of the state, has turned into a place where we see snowflakes and panic.
It only snows once a week during the winter here… (our last few significant snows-more significant than this- have been over weekends).
I just want to be able to go to therapy.
