I went on a tour of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. I took a ton of pictures because it was so beautiful. Some of these cliffs are 200 feet tall! The colors on the rocks are caused by the minerals in the ground water running down the sides of the cliffs. I was honestly surprised to see the turquoise color of the water in places and when the sun hit it, it simply glowed.

It was very cold on the boat, but totally worth it.

I definitely had a nice time and “forgot” to feel depressed a lot of the time. There’s something about that part of the world that just changes my outlook and makes me feel better. I just feel lighter and less encumbered. Maybe it’s the cleaner air.

Enjoy the pics! I enjoyed taking them!
