My Mom got me this Apple Watch to celebrate 60 pounds down, (well sort of, I am helping to pay for part of it), and I love it for tracking my walks.
Today when I got home from the airport I went for a walk and I used the timer to push myself. I came under 20 minutes for both miles that I walked today, albeit barely.
That’s only the second time I’ve come under 20 minutes for a mile since I started walking in January. It’s kind of a big deal, especially when you consider part of that is up a giant hill.
I am pretty proud of myself to be perfectly honest. I quit smoking again a week ago so I was sucking air, but not as much as I had been. It was definitely better.
It felt good to be walking again and be back to my eating routine today.
