Do you know how freakingly unbelievably hard it is to be in “wise mind” at all for me today with that stupid denial letter?

I want to freak the hell out and break things and do dumb self-destructive (not self harm) distracting things just to get away from how awful I feel. 

Instead I used stupid tools. So far I have been breathing, I drew a bad picture I won’t be sharing here (trust me you would thank me), I listened to music, I used imagery, I talked to a friend, I focused on the reality of the situation, and I’m going to see a movie for distraction.

Yay me…

I’m hoping the movie helps to turn things around because I’m running out of ideas. If anyone has any besides bubble baths (not my thing), feel free to share.
